<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Technical Debt The concept of software complexity as debt was originally coined by Ward Cunningham in an experience report for OOPSLA ’92.</p>
<p>Technical Debt is described as the deviation between what we promise to deliver and what we delivered.</p>
<p>Why Debt?<br />
When you listen or read this word your mind flashes the money, because it is more oriented towards finance.</p>
<p>What is Debt?<br />
In Finance perspective, the amount of money you borrow from the borrower, pertaining to certain contract is termed as loan, and this is a Debt on you until you pay back.</p>
<p>What are key boiler plates in contract are principle amount, interest rate, time of repayment, interest repayment, and mode of transition.</p>
<p>Key regarding borrowing and as stated by Martin Fowler is that until you don’t pay the principle you continue on paying interest.</p>
<p>Narrowing Debt to Software world</p>
<p>Same contract happens between the client and organization.<br />
Organization becomes the borrower.<br />
Key boiler plates in contract are Quality, functionality, timeline, Cost, Technology in use, etc.</p>
<p>Technical Debt is not Isolated term, it’s a more ripened and can be segregated in following classifications<br />
1.	Design Debt<br />
2.	Testing Debt</p>
<p>How Organization incurs into Technical Debt vicious Circle.</p>
<p>Bidding for Project:<br />
In this competitive world there are lots of organizations, on tips of client to service him and the one who win his assent is one who gives him all what he want at minimal cost and as early as possible.</p>
<p>Client never cares about the Technology you used, at start but later he may grow naïve, asking you to give him the latest or best technology.</p>
<p>Starting a Project:<br />
Just keep in mind that no planning is perfect, when the project start’s, the organization leads to a projection, about the timeline in which to complete the project (often this is more decided at the time of bidding), covering all functionality.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-70" src="http://blog.tarchitect.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/1st2-300x219.jpg" alt="1st" width="300" height="219" /></p>
<p>Figure 1: Expectations at the start of a project.</p>
<p>Product Development life Cycle:</p>
<p>So after all initial planning the product development started and there are actually very few teams which can excel, at starting only, i.e. yielding result before the timeline.</p>
<p>So projection at this stage looks like</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-71" src="http://blog.tarchitect.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/2nd1-300x219.jpg" alt="2nd" width="300" height="219" /></p>
<p>Figure 2: Reality has a way of making its presence known!<br />
Management becoming Active:</p>
<p>At this time leads, after being patient for too long, become active and put pressure to meet the projected timeline. Due to pressure on development gatherings, there focus changes from standards and quality management to fulfill the functionality. Result in cluttered and non-standardized code, bad quality product.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-73" src="http://blog.tarchitect.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/4th-300x219.jpg" alt="4th" width="300" height="219" /></p>
<p>Figure 4: Technical debt.<br />
How Organization enters into loop of Vicious Circle of Technical Debt:</p>
<p>At any how organization delivers all the functionality (bad in coding standards and somehow poor in quality), client ask them to expand the application by adding some more features.</p>
<p>As a result what organization ended up with is a cruft on top of cruft that is a loop of Vicious Circle.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-74" src="http://blog.tarchitect.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/5th-300x219.jpg" alt="5th" width="300" height="219" /></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Let me start it with myself only, because I believe that everything should start from within and then flow outward.</p>
<p>What can I call that morning of 15th August, an auspicious one or an awful one. I am perplexed to determine, what adjective should I allot it, but one thing I am damn sure is that it was the same lethargic morning, where I wake up, and directly jump into my fixed daily schedule, without a single thought. After taking bathe, according to my schedule, I sit for a 1 hour meditation session. I don&#8217;t know how come that single thought, on that day came to my mind, which never evaporated for last 25 years.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t have any scientific reasoning to that, but I do have some spiritual reasoning to that, which says that &#8220;all your actions are been timed in this space&#8221;.<br />
What you have to do is that be patience and courageous to face them, and take action, being calculative depending upon situation.</p>
<p>That one day change my angle towards life, during my session I don&#8217;t know why my mind quote this question to me, and then started penetrating deep inside to find the answer. The Question was &#8220;Am I Slave Or Master of My LIFE&#8221;. It was an interesting Meditation session where i was just sitting and watching my two mind conscious and sub-conscious are arguing to each other. It started with sub-conscious which give explanation in favor of being a the Master of life.</p>
<p>Here is the narration which foreplay in my mind.</p>
<p><strong>sub-conscious</strong>:- yes, I am master, I control every thing, in My life.<br />
<strong>conscious</strong>:- If you are master then why you started doing thing, without giving it a single thought. Why you do things without any purpose?<br />
Why that you start day by brushing, and then going on with other daily activities?<br />
<strong> sub-conscious</strong>:- Yes, I do this because I had my expertise over them? So, I don&#8217;t have to think again, I am confident that I can do it.<br />
<strong> conscious</strong>: If, it is like that as you are saying then, Why you never change the order of activity?<br />
<strong> sub-conscious</strong>: no answer it went dumb.(this silence was really awesome, its just like I am at Zero(neutralized))<br />
<strong> conscious</strong>: Did you know, that what all you do is all because of Me? I delegate all the things to you.<br />
<strong> sub-conscious</strong>: silence is deepening, as there is no answer from my sub-mind.<br />
<strong> conscious</strong>: I agree that when we are expert, then we never think again for same type of Job to be done. We just execute.<br />
<strong> sub-conscious</strong>: yes, that what I was saying priory.<br />
<strong> conscious</strong>: My friend, Tell me if you are a Ticket collector in a Train from station A to B, what you will be expert in ? Will you be expert in boarding Train?<br />
<strong> sub-conscious</strong>:  Yes off-course this should not be asked.<br />
<strong> conscious</strong>: OK, then tell me will you board in any train or in the specific train?<br />
<strong> sub-conscious</strong>: off-course in the train which will be via A-B, only.<br />
<strong> conscious</strong>: Can I call this your goal to check the ticket of passengers between station A to B?<br />
<strong> sub-conscious</strong>: yes, off-course.<br />
<strong> conscious</strong>: Tell me then, why you go as per your goal in this, when you are expertise in boarding the trains. Why you are only boarding trains via A,B?<br />
<strong> sub-conscious</strong>: silence.<br />
<strong> conscious</strong>: My Friend, when there is no goal in front then you are not more then a machine which just execute?<br />
<strong> conscious</strong>: We are not machine, are we?<br />
<strong> conscious,sub-conscious</strong>: yes, They both agreed.</p>
<p>They both now get into one tone, and this is the time when I was feeling very relaxed, because there was no friction between the two.</p>
<p>I realize, that yes my conscious mind is right why I elude my Goal, even in my day to day activities. To be innovative, you should know what are you doing, why you are doing and when you will do it. Once you know this then only you can be innovative, creative and smart in doing these things.</p>
<p>This is when you will be never bored with your life. You will be always cheerful, and this is the Time when you will feel immense JOY in your life.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s What this proverb means <span style="color: #ff9900"><em>&#8220;Mind is a good slave, but bad Master&#8221;</em></span></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Isn&#8217;t the title seems contradictory to you! On one hand I am using a word &#8220;revolutionary&#8221; which resembles something active, in motion and on the contrary I used word &#8220;dream&#8221; which comes in conjuncture with sleep(symbolically represent inactive state of human body, not organs). Don&#8217;t you think that I committed a mistake while opting for this debatable title?</p>
<p>You must be thinking that <span style="color: #33cccc">when I sleep I dream, when I wake up I don&#8217;t remember what I had dreamed off, then how can dreams bring revolution?<br />
Why is this article titled as Revolutionary Dreams?</span></p>
<p>Yes, my friends this happens, with many of us, only and only when you dream what your mind portrays. Believe me this will never happens, when you control and ordered your mind to portrays something you desire.</p>
<p>I chose this title deliberately to change the world notions about dreamers. World history, had always jibed over the dreamers. They always pointed out fingers to them. They even created a special class &#8220;day dreamers&#8221; out of them. World underestimated them, they think them as jobless, work-less and hopeless fellows.</p>
<p>Be naive and tell me with affirmation that you haven&#8217;t dreamed. If yes, then I must say that, you must not be reading this blog of mine and will be an entity of heaven. As I believe that anybody who is living on this earth, had dreamed of something it may be materialistic, vulnerable, non vulnerable, or of any form.</p>
<p>I want to bring world attention to the fact that, many epitome in fields of art, science, computers, philosophy etc are considered as dreamers and many belong to special category of them i.e. &#8220;day-dreamers&#8221;. It may be Einstein, Edison, Madam Mari Curie, Helen Keller, Wulmaha Rudolf and lot more, who brings new realities to world, who unexplored the hidden secretes!! They all are dreamers.</p>
<p>So as a word of caution never felt petty on somebody&#8217;s dream.</p>
<p>You must be now thinking that why is that &#8220;<span style="color: #00ffff">their dream take some tangible shape and ours doesn&#8217;t&#8221; ?</span></p>
<p>Friends, I truly believe that to know a solution to this, we should first divert our attention to feasible possible solutions available! and then find one elegant out of them.</p>
<p>So with Dream first we should accept the harsh reality that their(dreams) occurrence is not in our hand. So you must be wandering that why I had written something on it and you are reading when it is not in our hands?</p>
<p>Friends to know the reason for that first tell me what happens when we play or exercise?<br />
.<br />
.<br />
.<br />
Yes, our body get exhausted, we get tired! Can you control tiredness, or more specifically can we control the mechanism of when our body become tired?<br />
!<br />
!<br />
!<br />
No hmmm. So will you stop playing&#8230;..<br />
!<br />
!<br />
!<br />
No hmmmm. So what you will do!!!</p>
<p>Yes we will train our body and increase our stamina for more resistance for such physical labour.</p>
<p>So what you will get by doing so?</p>
<p>We didn&#8217;t control the Tiredness but we control its occurrence. We have increase the time line in which our body get tired.</p>
<p>Similarly we can&#8217;t control dreams, but we can control there patterns. We can control what we dream about!!</p>
<p>Believe me friends once we mastered the Art of controlling the Dreams, then you will see the power of them. You will find that these dreams don&#8217;t make you dormant but they prepare you for great Revolutions in life, and once you are revolutionize then the world surrounding you will also start becoming the same(remember the chain reaction).</p>
<p>Friends Dreams are the key to kingdom of Unexplored infinite energy lying within us!! that&#8217;s why I titled it as REVOLUTIONARY DREAMS</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000">TURN ON THE PAGES OF HISTORY,<br />
YOU WILL FIND LOTS OF DREAMERS WHO REVOLUTIONIZED THE WORLD WITH THEIR INNOVATION,<br />
WHAT THEY MASTER IS ON WHAT TO DREAM &amp; HOW TO PROTECT THEIR DREAMS&#8230;.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000"> REST ALL IS BACKED BY PERSISTENCE &amp; SELF BELIEF.</span></p>
<p><span id="more-56"></span><!--more--></p>

<p style="text-align: center" align="center"><span style="color: #ff0000"><strong><em>“Every mother had one, beautiful Child”</em></strong></span></p>
<p><em>lets start the Journey of not only mine but of every mother,</em>Journey begins here,</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold;color: #7030a0">As A child</span>: where she had been deprived of lot of things which males in her family are poured up with, like late nights, vehicles, and lot more. But she stood without complain, she enjoy, the moment of happiness with her siblings, and never regret for what she didn’t get.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #7030a0">A Bride</span>: </strong>The moment where she had to leave all, with whom she spends her past 21-23 years of life. It’s a traumatic situation for anyone to change, all environments in which one had lived for past 20 years. A situation where the mind even repulse as it has to move out of comfort zone where it had adapted to and now challenge is to adapt to a new one. But there stand the tougher who flexibly adapts to these new changes without a thought.</p>
<p><strong><em>“The research on animals even reflects that when they are moved to another environment from where they live in, the chances of there survival are very few.. </em></strong>“.</p>
<p>But see the beauty of Woman, she not only survives but, take over the new responsibilities. She is now Wife and had to take care of her husband, and every one in his family. She did that, very gracefully, respectfully, without complains and even without any anticipation.<span style="color: #7030a0"> </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #7030a0"><span style="font-weight: bold">A Mother</span>:</span> The third transformation most desired by any woman, it came when she became mother. According to me the most painful one, but she feel proud to be a mother. I only knew one thing that<span style="color: #8db3e2"> even a small muscular pain hurts a lot and I don’t know how women’s are so compassionate even while going through that painful labour pain</span>. This isn’t the easiest one, but the most difficult one as for this she had to leave every thing her career, her taste, her illness, her comfort.</p>
<p>But still she merciful undergoes all these and enjoys the growth of her children’s. She also grows with them and enters to the last Transformation.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #7030a0">Old Age</span>:</strong> the last transformation in every human being life “old age.”</p>
<p>She grew old, while serving to every body, she never took care of her, she never get time till now, to think about herself, in this world where every body is selfish and self-centered, she was an antonym.</p>
<p>Now she expect nothing else then love, love from the ones whom she had given all her life. But she never speaks and if situation came where she can still do something she will sacrifice to serve, with joy.</p>
<p>What my mother said is Right</p>
<p style="text-align: center;color: #ffff00" align="center"><strong>“Every mother had one, beautiful child,”</strong></p>
<p>But I truly believe that,</p>
<p style="text-align: center;color: #92d050" align="center"><strong>“God I remember you, in my mother’s absence,</strong></p>
<p style="margin-left: 1in;text-align: center;text-indent: 0.5in;color: #ffc000" align="center"><strong>Rest all the time in her, I feel your presence”</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><em><span style="color: #ff0000">Yes, I can proudly state that god can not give me a better gift then this; yes my mother, my holly mother.</span></em></p>
<p style="text-align: left">A poem to all moms from there kids.<strong><em><br />
</em></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center" align="center"><strong><em><span style="color: #ffc000">“MOM I know you are</span> <span style="color: #92d050">their for m</span><span style="color: #ffff00">e, every time,</span></em></strong></p>

<p>I don’t remember the exact date, but yes from the time when I grown mature and meticulously adapted to world working language, I learned only one thing, run, run for every thing.</p>
<p>As, like my others friends in this world, I also started living my life on the protocols set by world to survive. I also became the part of crowd who are calculative, weirdo, manipulative and selfish.</p>
<p>My Life was going fine. I am getting every thing, what I had expected, whether by hook or crook, in this world what matters are end results and I am getting them, so I never bothered.</p>
<p>One day I visit one temple, suggested by one of my friend. I got an opportunity to visit the old age home run by the temple committee. I don’t know what happened to me at that place , my mind paused and blinked up with heart piercing question, I groaned in petty on myself, I was helpless, I was feeling all alone.</p>
<p>That Question is hollowing me from inside, and I was speechless and dumb.</p>
<p>I am looking all inside me, searching all my knowledge to answer that, but an emotional question cannot be answered by mind logic&#8217;s and book knowledge. The answer to such question should come from within, from your heart.</p>
<p>Oh I haven’t told you the question till now! sorry!! The question was</p>
<p><em><span style="color: #339966">See these people! They are also part of your cruel world! Why then, they are here! Why are they not with their family! Why their family for whom they run all there life discarded them! Why they are all alone! Why no one whom they know is with them! Why! Why!</span></em></p>
<p>Is this the result of your rat-race! Is this the result you desired!</p>
<p>Yes, these <span style="color: #0000ff">&#8220;Why’s&#8221;</span> are killing me. So I sit in a quite place, and put my heart to it.</p>
<p>My heart replied once and my thrust satisfied.</p>
<p>It said, stop! Stop this mad rat race. You, want to come up curbing your dear ones for what!</p>
<p>Money, Name and Fame</p>
<p>You are running from them for something which will never last long.</p>
<p>You are running from them whom you need at end!! Where! Where to land!<br />
One day will come when nobody will be there when you die!!</p>
<p>Because it is you, who detour from them!!</p>
<p>And it’s all because you are so rude and ruthless to weigh all your relation in terms of profits and losses…</p>
<p>I know I would have never thanked anyone, for what good they did to me. I know I flowed away in this brutal world like sheep in herd, but now I am awake and I wish to do one thing which I should have done long back.<br />
<span style="color: #3366ff">“To bow my head, and pay them Gratitude”</span></p>
<p>I hope this is read by all of them who had given me courage, and helped me, to be what I am today.. Friends I did mine you do yours before it&#8217;s too late to turn back&#8230;.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My writers&#8217; team(Saurabh,Ashutosh et al)  is gonna pen down their thoughts on the seminal book &#8220;Secret&#8221; .  I can quote one difference between Cigarette &amp; Secret other their phonetics similarity &#8230;that is.. Secret is what goes in (and should not come out) but Cigarette is the one which should not go in but should come out. Confusedianism, is it?!  let&#8217;s continue&#8230;</p>
<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;</p>
<p>Human is a social animal. You roam around the history, turn the pages, and you will find that humans had always welcome the changes. Either the change is in culture, surroundings, Environment, We humans had always adopted them. These chnages not only bring the reflective changes in ourself but also brought lot of revolutions.</p>
<p>Now, Let&#8217;s turn the pages off all the philosphy epitomes you will see that what is keeping a Human away from Success and Joy is, the Attitude.<br />
<strong><em>Attitude</em></strong> is nothing but an outlook of Human towards life, people and surroundings.</p>
<p>Its very difficult to Compare, the two dissimilar, thing and where one is tangible and other is not, it grows more worse. The seminal book Secret, is a book about nothing, because what all it preaches about can never be accessed, can never bee felt by all human senses.</p>
<p>But still, I took my chance, and ride on horse of my creativity to bring in some similarilty among these two things. Eureka!! I found, I know that it may be my idiosyncrasy, but to agree or not is your will.</p>
<p>What i found is that whether you adopt Secret or Cigarette in your life it will bring a definite change and what change you welcome is your wit.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It’s all happens accidently, yes as our mind never sleep, and when it read something, which had a deep inspiration and a underlying truth it went restless.<br />
Yes, such a thing happened to me too.<br />
The accident, I encountered is a coincidence or not I can’t say, but it impute my mind restless, mesmerized and perplexed.<br />
Whole night after reading the book “Do Gaz Zameen”, by Abdus Samad I found that I am sleeping (physically) but my mind is struggling radically to occult the truth depicted in it. I try to portray the truth in line below.</p>
<p>The End result, is this blog and the unusual title “DEATH GOAL”<br />
Might be, it sound you idiosyncratic, but I felt every truth is always like this one.<br />
So before jumping directly into the facets, let me pose you a question what is GOAL!!!<br />
And what’s your life GOAL?<br />
Goal in general meaning defined as what you want at the End of your activity i.e. what you want to achieve, it is more casually defined as purpose driving your action.<br />
What about the answer to the second Question!!<br />
You all will be having list of different things!!! Hmmm.<br />
Let me depict second question in different manner! What you will get at end of your life!!!<br />
Now here we all have only one answer!!, only one, the piercing truth. Yes, it is nothing but trembling, “DEATH”. No body on this earth can ever avert that!!!<br />
So my question is!! When we all have something non-avertable, then why are we creating a mirage around us? Why we don’t accept the truth?<br />
Is it not, because of our ignorance, that we neither enjoy our LIFE and neither our DEATH.<br />
See the mystery, god decided our life fortune, and nobody can deny it!!<br />
But he didn’t decide our “DEATH FATE”<br />
So, I realize this truth and then I jumped into preparing a list of all the things what I want to do, if this is my last day.<br />
I just jotted down; my mind and heart automatically are in sync. My hands are not stopping.<br />
When I stopped, I was surprised, looking at the list.<br />
I asked only one question! What the hell I was doing for last 25 years, of my life?,<br />
As the list contains all the antonyms of what I had done and what I am doing daily.<br />
And I was surprised to see that these 3 words, NAME, FAME and MONEY was no where.<br />
You want to know some of my list items. Even I think I should disclose some because I know it will match to some of yours when you do the same.<br />
1: To be Remembered as a Naïve person.<br />
2: I want to spend some JOY full moments with “My family”.<br />
3: I want to help, who are in Needs, I want to be humane.<br />
4: I want to live for those, who may be not my kin, but on humanitarian ground need<br />
someone.<br />
5: I want to go to Himalaya Ranges.<br />
.<br />
.<br />
.<br />
.<br />
There are lots, and lots of thing, but when I segregate them into categories, I was surprised that they all lie into 3 categories. Maximum of my wishes fall under FAMILY, and SOCIAL categories. The left few which are full of adventures is something under category PERSONAL.<br />
Then I asked a list of hard questions for which I have no answers.<br />
Why, am I running from what I want to do really in my life!!<br />
Why am I doing, what I didn’t like?<br />
Why am I leaving JOY for SUCCESS?<br />
Why!!<br />
Then, I decided that I will take control of my DEATH. I don’t want to die, in dumb.<br />
I want to DIE, with a smile of satisfaction and compassion. I want to DIE as HUMAN, and not merely as a MAN!! (It has a deep sense just think).<br />
I was surprised my days, after that night are JOYFULL, and with proud I can say that, I am heading towards my</p>
<p>“MY FATED DESTINY DEATH”.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Recently I have been tasked with developing interoperable WCF services. My services are to be consumed by .net stack as well as by Tibco. As of this writing Tibco is not very supportive to WCF. Some issues are caused by WCF and some are due to laziness of Tibco. Following are the problems that I faced while developing this service:</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>I was not able to get wsHttpBinding working with Tibco</strong>. Tibco has announced <a href="http://www.tibco.com/company/news/releases/2008/press900.jsp" target="_blank">Support</a> for WCF but I still to see that support in any of their product. I tried coordinating with our Tibco team but they were not able to get wsHttpBinding working. So we decided to live with basicHttpBinding. basicHttpBinding is very close to ASMX and having this binding means that you won’t have any funky thing possible with WCF. But it enables me to move to better binding once my clients are able to understand that.</li>
<li><strong>WCF does not include schema in one WSDL document.</strong> Rather WCF puts those schema into the network location and refer to those external locations in main WSDL document like this:</li>
</ol>
<pre>&lt;wsdl:types&gt;</pre>
<pre>&lt;xsd:schema targetNamespace="<a href="http://tempuri.org/Imports">http://tempuri.org/Imports</a>"&gt;</pre>
<pre>&lt;xsd:import schemaLocation="<a href="http://localhost:1282/Service.svc?xsd=xsd0">http://localhost:1282/Service.svc?xsd=xsd0</a>" namespace="<a href="http://tempuri.org/">http://tempuri.org/</a>"/&gt;</pre>
<pre>&lt;xsd:import schemaLocation="<a href="http://localhost:1282/Service.svc?xsd=xsd3">http://localhost:1282/Service.svc?xsd=xsd3</a>" namespace="<a href="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/System">http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/System</a>"/&gt;</pre>
<pre>&lt;xsd:import schemaLocation="<a href="http://localhost:1282/Service.svc?xsd=xsd1">http://localhost:1282/Service.svc?xsd=xsd1</a>" namespace="<a href="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/">http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/</a>"/&gt;</pre>
<pre>&lt;xsd:import schemaLocation="<a href="http://localhost:1282/Service.svc?xsd=xsd2">http://localhost:1282/Service.svc?xsd=xsd2</a>" namespace="<a href="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/Entities">http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/Entities</a>"/&gt;</pre>
<pre>&lt;/xsd:schema&gt;</pre>
<pre>&lt;/wsdl:types&gt;</pre>
<p>Most of the legacy client tools won’t be able to recognize this. At least Tibco is waste and can’t understand it. My Tibco team has to manually download these schemas and then change the WSDL document to refer to those local schemas. This is a pain.</p>
<p><strong>There is a way to put all your WSDL in one document.</strong> There are tools such as <a title="FlatWSDL" href="http://blogs.thinktecture.com/cweyer/archive/2007/05/10/414840.aspx" target="_blank">FlatWSDL</a> and <a title="WCFExtras" href="http://www.codeplex.com/WCFExtras" target="_blank">WCFExtras</a> which can pull all your schemas and put them together in one single WSDL document. But in this world everything comes with a price <img src='http://blog.tarchitect.org/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> . Once you convert your WSDL to a single document schema, your WSDL loses some information in such a way that all collections become arrays. This is not good when you have .net stack also consuming your service along with non .net stack. Non .net stack anyway will get arrays but it would be good if .net stack can still see collections. More on this <a title="Problem with flattened WCF WSDL" href="http://www.steverb.com/post/2008/11/22/Flatten-WCF-WSDL-on-Demand.aspx" target="_blank">here&#8230;</a>.</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Designing exception handling approach. </strong>While starting to work on this service we had two options a) throw exception when we have exceptions b) never throw exceptions, instead respond to request and in response you let the client know that request was not processed successfully.<br />
Initially we went with first approach where we throw exceptions because Tibco didn’t want to introspect each message. This is good also because a broker should not inspect a message. This is basicHttpBinding so they are able to inspect; what if it was secure message? Brokers would anyway be not able to inspect message. But in this approach Tibco was not able to bind FaultCode and FaultString. This is because .net exception itself does not have FaultCode and FaultString as part of their data field. At runtime framework will populate these two fields. I tried working with <strong>FaultException </strong>as well but somehow that also didn’t help. Tibco team was not able to see FaultCode and FaultString in the schema of FaultException. I am not sure if I was missing something or my Tibco team.<br />
But due to this then fell back to plan B and now we are using response object to let client know that request failed. Now my response object have FailureCode and FailureReason that Tibco team can bind to FaultCode and FaultString.</li>
</ol>
<p>This was my exposure interoperability and I consider this as a tip of iceberg. There is so much more to explore if you have more clients of different nature and you are planning to expose more bindings but all that for some other day.</p>
